    • A set of Runes. If you do not have a Runes Set, there are instructions on how to create a set as an extra credit assignment. During the class we will be using the Elder Futhark Runes, which are sometimes called Viking Runes. One of the main differences between this set and others is that on some Runes there is a stone that looks like a diamond, and in others it looks like 2 X's on top of each other. We are using the set with the 2 X's. If your set is completely different from the ones we are using, you will have a hard time understanding this course.
